Stage 3 - Return to Football

Updated: Jul 9, 2020

We are pleased to advise that we are now moving to Stage 3 of the Return to Football guidelines.

The Qld Government has further relaxed restrictions and from noon on Friday 3 July full contact in community sports is allowed. There is also no longer any restrictions on the number of players or spectators, although everyone will be required to continue to social distance (1.5m) and co-mingling of groups is not allowed off the playing field.

We are increasing the number of sanitising stations throughout the venue and we strongly encourage their use. We also request that all rubbish is placed in bins and that if you are feeling unwell you MUST NOT attend any venue and you are required to stay at home.

Training allocations will return to pre-COVID timetables (click [HERE] for revised Training Allocations) with some minor changes to ensure there is a 15 minute window between training sessions (please ensure that you leave immediately after your training and entry to the venue is not permitted until 5 minutes prior).

We do however encourage MiniRoos and Junior parents during training to either drop and go or to remain in their cars to reduce the number of persons on the venue (does not apply to parents of younger players in the Hatchlings and Fledglings programs). If parents come onto the venue you are NOT permitted to move around and you will be required to remain in designated spectator areas (grandstand areas only) and you must social distance and mingling is not permitted.

Health and hygiene requirements apply such as bringing your own ball, no sharing of water bottles, no sharing of clothing and players must regularly sanitise and practice good hygiene.

Effective Monday 13 July, Mt Gravatt Hawks FC will be implementing a updated Venue Map as part of our COVID Safe Venue Plan. The new map will have designated areas for spectators on each field and once in the venue you will be asked to limit your movements. The red line represents the boundary of our venue, please ensure that you enter and exit via the designated areas on the map.

Mt Gravatt Hawks FC is a COVID Safe Venue and as part of our restrictions, it will be a CONDITION OF ENTRY that all persons entering Dittmer Park (red zone) will be required to record their attendance as part of our Contact Tracing. To make it easy for everyone, each entry point will display signage and will have a QR Code that can be scanned using your smart phone's camera and will take you to an easy to complete online form.

Only ONE entry is required per family.  Juniors players DO NOT need to register, but all other persons including spectators, parents, officials and senior players MUST register.

Records are strictly confidential and will be retained for 56 days and will be destroyed after that time.  This information will ONLY be made available to Qld Government Health Officials on request.

If you are unable to record your details online, you are required to attend the clubhouse and a manual register will be available for you to complete.
