COLES MINIROOS FLEDGLINGS (U7-8 IN-HOUSE PROGRAM)

This program is for players born 2018-2019 and is a In-House program which means there's no travel involved

Players will train on Thursday evenings (5:15-5:45pm) for a period of 45 mins

Games will be played on Saturday mornings from 8am and TEAMS will be run by nominated Game Leaders

Format of games will be 7v7 with 2 halves of 20 minutes on approximately 1/4 of a pitch as per the National MiniRoos Playing Format

All training and games will be played Dittmer Park (no travel involved)

​COLES MINIROOS (U8-U12 TRAVELLING PROGRAM)

 

Coles MiniRoos football caters for our youngest players to give them an introduction to the game.  Ranging in age groups from Under 8 through to Under 12, the purpose is to give children the basic skills of playing this low-contact team sport in a friendly, fun environment.

The U8 and U9 age groups introduce goalkeepers and play 7-a-side on approximately 1/4 size pitch with 20 minutes in each half.   Teams will train for 45 minutes on a Thursday afternoon and games are typically on Saturday morning on a home and away basis.  The emphasis is on building skills in preparation for competitive football.  Age groups are softly graded in leagues such as Kangaroo, Wallaby and Quokka. 

The U10, U11 and U12 age groups play 9-a-side on 1/2 size pitches with 25 minutes in each half.   Teams will train for 60 minutes on a Thursday evening and games are typically on Saturday on a home and away basis.  These age groups are softly graded into the Kangaroo, Wallaby and Quokka leagues, although no league tables will be published.
