Mt Gravatt Hawks FC is pleased to announce that it is partnering with Eagles FC and Tarragindi Tigers FC to launch an in-house U6-7 Girls Only Competition.
"It is amazing to see local community clubs collaborating to help build the girls game and to create new products that will give girls greater opportunities and enable the clubs to develop the next generation of Matildas" said Mt Gravatt Hawks FC President, Mark Brittain.
The collaboration between the clubs will see girl players born in 2013 and 2014 have their own Girls Only Competition.
The model will be based on a single session per week which will include 30 minutes of training, followed by a 30 minute game. Training will be fun and skills acquisition based and will be rotated between the clubs on a weekly basis with campuses at Mt Gravatt, Mansfield and Tarragindi.
In summary:
Female players born 2013-2014
Training on Saturday mornings (8:00-8:30am) for a period of 30 mins
Games played on Saturday mornings (8:30-9:00am) and TEAMS will be run by nominated Game Leaders
Games will cycled around Mt Gravatt Hawks FC, Eagles FC (Mansfield) and Tarragindi Tigers FC
