Mt Gravatt Hawks FC is pleased to announce the launch of the new Hawks Futsal Club. With the launch of the new South Queensland Futsal League (QSFL) (indoor soccer), we are pleased to advise that Hawks FC have been accepted as an inaugural club.
The new SQFL season will run from October to December (during the school term). Training will be weekly on a Wednesday evening at Dittmer Park and will be run based on the current SAP Program with an emphasis on Futsal.
Fixtures will be played FORTNIGHTLY (double header rounds – 2 games) on a Saturday at the AFA Qld State Futsal Centre at Oxley.
Therefore players will receive a minimum of 10 SAP Training sessions, 10 rounds of Futsal and will participate in a Championship Cup Tournament.
The cost will be $210/player fully inclusive and players will be representing Hawks FC (playing in a Hawks FC kit). Registration is OPEN to all current and new players!!
The SQFL is composite age groups and we encourage all of our current (also open to future) players to participate in this program. Please note that U7 players would play in the U8 team, U9 players in the U10 team, U11 players in the U12 team and U13 players in the U14 team.
Futsal is the sport that is played by the world’s greatest footballers, and players like Ronaldo, Messi, Pele, Kaka to name a few developed their football skills playing futsal, so we would encourage as many of our players to get on board this great new player development initiative.

We will be running trials on Wednesday 31/7 and whilst we can only field one team per age group, if we have sufficient interest we would seek to accommodate additional players.
We would also encourage our players to also participate in the Mt Gravatt Futsal League that is hosted by AFA on Monday and Thursday nights this summer at the Hibiscus Sports Complex
